This ricochet occurs multiple times which means that the more enemies there are, the more damage your special can deal and its the fastest weapon in terms of clearing regular enemies in dungeon rooms.
Endless Spear Gets Rid of the Spearhead Mechanic

It's the second best spear due to it actually discarding its special skill and just improving its base attack capability.
