At Egogamer, we believe that the best gaming experiences come from being able to overcome any challenge and keep moving forward. That’s why we create our wikis—to give you the answers, knowledge, and guidance you need to make the most of every adventure.
You are the Main Character
We believe gaming guides should serve the player, not the other way around. Our content is focused on topics and answers that players are looking for. Every article is made with the intent of making them easy to access and understand when players need it.
It’s About the Journey, not the Destination
We want to be your constant companion. We want to see you through each adventure from start to finish. We want to begin every gaming journey with you, experience the same emotions, and reach the end of every objective. No challenge should stop you from enjoying the journey.
Who We Are
We Are Gamers, Creating a Wiki for Gamers
Behind the written guides, news, and tools, we are simply gamers like you. We want to provide the information we have to you like a friend telling you to check behind that waterfall.
Sure, we’re writers, editors, researchers, and managers. But before all of that, we’re just gaming enthusiasts that want to talk about the games we play.
What We Cover
Egogamer covers a wide variety of content for games so that you can complete the game from start to finish.
Our general content includes mostly the following:
- Walkthroughs - Guide for the game’s main storyline and a step to complete every chapter, puzzles, and all other objectives from the game’s main story.
- Boss Guides - All strategies involved to complete boss fights and methods to make these fights as easy as pie to complete.
- How-Tos - Every how tos, answered. We want every question you have solved to complete every puzzles, unlock all features, and finish all the content you want to do in the game.
- Database Information - From the most basic potion to legendary weapons, we record these in our database and provide summarized information for these pages like their stats, crafting costs, and how to obtain them.
- Locations - Maps, Obtainables, hidden items. Our locations guide covers every point of interest so you never miss a single unlockable.
- Sidequests/Missions - Every questionmark in the map, solved. We sidetrack ourselves as well to avoid the main mission as much as possible so that you can too.
- Game Mechanics - You wanna know how to jump? We got you covered but its not just that, all the most complex systems and every game mechanics are guides we always focus on so that you can enjoy the game to the fullest.
- Builds - Defeating bosses are fun, but one-shotting them? Way more fun. We provide the most broken builds we know while also creating fun, off-meta builds so you can just play the game in the best way you can think of.
How We Make Our Guides
Answers First, Details Later
Gamers are more excited to play, and so are we. So we skip the unnecessary fluff and take you straight to the answers. Our guides at Egogamer are focused on immediate answers followed by additional details if you’re looking for more info.
Our aim is to skip walls of texts so you can jump back into the game as soon as possible.
Complete the Challenges First, Teach Users Second
We can’t help others if we can’t help ourselves. At EgoGamer, we strive to solve every puzzle, defeat every boss, and complete the hardest content. Only after we’ve discovered the best method will we create our guides so that you can overcome these challenges yourself.
If we can’t complete the game’s challenges, then we don’t deserve to teach you how to do it.
Help Us Improve
Our guides are made with the players in mind and your feedback matters to make our guides better. If you find mistakes or outdated/incorrect information in our guides, or think that we are missing specific content, don’t be afraid to file a ticket, as all feedback will help us grow to be a better gaming wiki.
