This is a guide to all the dungeons in Moonlighter 2. Each dungeon has their own relic curse mechanics that can alter the qualities of relics or even transform them in different form.

Kalina Dungeon Mechanics

Kalina Dungeon Mechanics
Burn	Burns the affected relic, destroying the relic.
Armor	Blocks a burn effect applied to the relic. Once burned, the amor effect disappears. Any unarmored relic can be applied with armor, even relics that previously lost armor.

The main curse of Kalina are Burn and Armor. Burning can destroy relics and while seemingly destructive, may also be a helpful effect depending on its usage. Some relics gain quality if a relic is burned or even return as a relic with higher quality.

Armor on the otherhand, will protect a relic and can be used to avoid the destructive effect of burns and protect high quality/rarity relics.

The Gallery Dungeon Mechanics

Kalina Dungeon Mechanics
Shock	Shocked relics gain Overcharged and a small amount of quality.
Overcharged	Overcharged relics are destroyed if shocked again. Some relics can remove the Overcharged state such as the Battery.

The main curses of The Gallery are shocks and curses. Shock will Overcharge a relic, gaining quality but putting those relics at risk by being destroyed with another shock effect.

There are several relics that synergize with the application of shock as well as removing it and one of the best ways to utilize the gallery's curse is by cycling shock and batteries and applying then removing overcharge from relics.

Aeolia Dungeon Mechanics

Petrify	Turns affected relics to crystals of the same rarity.
Absorb	Absorbs affected relics, gaining their quality. Absorbed relics are destroyed.

The main curse of Aeolia are Petrify and Absorb. Absorb is the main key to gaining high quality relics but most relics can only absorb crystals.

Crystals cannot be taken home by normal means and is best absorbed by other relics before ending a dungeon run. Plan out your petrification and absorption and choose which relics to prioritize growing and which relics to feed as quality to the others to master this dungeon.

Dungeon Exploration Tips

Prioritize Perks and Upgrades

Prioritizing perks and upgrades is helpful when exploring in Moonlighter 2, specially in the early stages of the game and in higher difficulties.

Perks allows you to use the perk's main effect to gain additional damage sources while also increasing your attacks and/or gun's damage which lets you speed up your progress and eventually, take less damage by defeating enemies faster.

Strike a Balance With Quality and Rarity for Relics

Higher rarity relics yields a higher price but quality can be a great price multiplier once you'll sell them in the shop.
